Downloadable Audiobooks from your Library Service

OneClickDigital is a service offered by Westmeath County Library that will allow library members to download Audiobooks to your own computer, or mp3 player at home.  All genres are covered, from bestselling fiction to Shakespeare and everything in between. In order to use OneClickDigital you must be a current member of Westmeath County Libraries. You also need to have your barcode number. This can be found on your library card.

Creating an Account

Step-by –step guide to creating your OneClickDigital account:

1. Go to: http://westmeath.oneclickdigital.eu
2. Click on “Create an Account”
3. Enter the library information and personal information required by your library.
4. Choose whether you are a Windows or Other(Mac) user.
5. For Windows users, choose whether or not to use the OneClickdigital Media Manager as your default player. This is the preferred method and it allows for the easiest download experience. Windows users that wish to download manually should select “No”.
6. Next you select a Default Device. If you are an iPod, iPhone, iPad or iTouch user, select “iTunes” as your Default Device. Users with a non-Apple device select “Other”.
7. Enter your First Name and Last Name associated with the address linked to your library card. The Zip/Postal Code is a required field, please use either n/a or WM here.
8. Create a username and password. The password must conform to your Library’s criteria.
9. Enter your email address and then reenter to confirm it.
10. Click Create an Account.

** Please note; You should only use OneClickDigital at home as library computers cannot be used due to restrictions on removable devices such as MP3 Players & USB memory keys **

What Can I Borrow?

Because more than one person can borrow an eAudiobook title at a time, loans are far more flexible. You can have up to ten eAudiobooks downloaded at a time and keep access to them for the usual three week loan. Renewals are done straight through your online OneClickDigital account, not through library staff.

Remember, we still stock physical copies of Audiobooks in different formats. You can check these out from your local library as well as dvds, music cds, and, of course, books. If you have your full ten Audiobooks checked out from OneClickDigital you may still borrow your usual number of physical books, cds, etc., from the library.
