Mullingar, the Royal Canal and Belvedere House and Gardens

In Mullingar, a lovely old market town, take a stroll to see the Joe Dolan statue one of the towns famous singers which stands outside the historic  Market House which houses the local Tourist Office, visit the beautiful Renaissance style Cathedral with its fantastic mosaics or meander peacefully on a looped walk by the Royal Canal.
